Hotel Asset Management is accomplished through constant interaction with hotel management. Goals and objectives are set during monthly meetings with the hotels executive team. In preparation for this meeting Mankarios Partnership analyses the current financial performance as well as projections, identifying areas of concern in profit margins vs. what was budgeted. Fixed and variable costs are reviewed to ensure that proper “flexing” matches the achieved revenue. Past and future pricing strategies are validated. Actual and planned sales and marketing activities are reviewed in light of the current market and comp set performance.
All of the above activity results in a “to do” list which is the basis for ongoing communication between the Mankarios Partnership team and the hotel Executive team until the next meeting when the cycle repeats.
